Tips to wear summer clothes into the fall
Fall is my absolute favorite time of year – that is, until it’s almost Christmas/my birthday but thats a different topic. 😉 Boots, leg-warmers, and scarves scream the changing of the season but don’t forget to layer up on the accessories as well as your clothes.
I think the best place to find unique jewelry is at an antique store. You can always score awesome turquoise rings and bracelets there.
I never leave the house without one of my MudLOVE bracelets on my arm. So glad my sister introduced them to me! I’m always up for fashion for a cause!
I’m slightly obsessed about my new Warby Parker frames. I love the brown matte finish that seems to go with everything. Although the red ones might be next on my list!
This is my go-to color for the fall. It’s warm. It lasts. It’s perfect. RIMMEL Steel Grey
Not into scarves? Add a chunky necklace instead.
Just because it’s technically Fall doesn’t mean you need to pack up your summer wardrobe just yet. I love taking a favorite summer dress and layering it up with a jacket and boots. Or adding a comfy oversized sweater to my favorite tee. Save some time and money this fall by converting summer clothes into cold weather must-haves.
Sweater, bag, and booties all from Goodwill for less than $10.
I love Ashley’s pops of color in the outfit below. She is actually the one that taught me to always wear at least three layers of clothing/accessories. Good rule of thumb.
I wore this creamy lace top all spring/summer. Add a denim shirt plus a sweater and instantly transform it into a favorite fall piece.
Goodwill has been rocking lately. Found this vintage mustard sweater for $3!
As you can probably tell I love lace. It goes with ANYTHING! Pair your lacy summer dress with a jacket and boots for warmth. Add a scarf and leg-warmers for pops of color. Add a cutie patootie dog for kicks and giggles.
Don’t pack up that jersey skirt just yet. Wear it with tights and a sweater for the fall.
